We are on a family trip touring around Europe until June 5th. Just flew LOT business class to Prague, from where we will make our way to Italy and tour around Tuscany. Then we will visit Rome, Sintra and Lisbon.
We will still let you know of the best deals but please bear with our updates during random hours. Any comments may also take longer than usual to review and approve.
Via Doctor of Credit there are are public offers for 70,000 miles + $100 (requires a Delta purchase in the first 4 months) on both business and personal versions of the Delta Platinum cards (min spend: $4,000 on personal and $5,000 on the business version within the first 4 months). There are also 60,000 miles + $50 (requires a Delta purchase in the first 4 months) offers on both business and personal versions of the Delta Gold cards (min spend: $3,000 on personal and $4,000 on the business version within the first 4 months).
We have seen Delta Platinum offers of 70,000 come out every summer for the past 2 years, it's also not the first time we see the 60,000 Gold offer. These are as high as these get for public offers, so if you were considered getting these cards you have until July 5th to apply. The spending requirements are getting higher across different issuers these days, so I do not expect these offers to show up again with lower minimum spending requirements. If you cant meet such high spending thresholds, you may want to wait for Gold 50,000 personal offer with $1,000 spend.

Only $349 for a round-trip non-stop flight from JFK to ZRH. Availability from August to November on Delta Airlines. This is probably the lowest fare we have ever seen for a non-stop flight on this route.
You can use Google Flights to search and Momondo to book your flights. For the details of flights see below.
Chase has updated its terms and conditions to state that for the applications made on or after May 21st the $300 travel credit will be based on cardmember year, which means you can only get this credit once before the next year annual fee is billed. If you are organized you can still get the 2nd credit by taking advantage of their policy of reimbursing you the annual fee if you cancel the card up to 30 days after the fee was billed. Currently the travel credit is calculated based on the calendar year, so you can get it twice (or even 3 times if you timed your application very carefully at the end of last year). Yet another negative change from Chase after recently reducing the sign-up bonus for the card from 100K to 50K.
ROUND-TRIP in FLAT-BED BUSINESS TO SOUTH AMERICA FOR $1773+?!! ONEWORLD/SKYTEAM MILES SALE - UP TO 1.97 CENTS/MILE
Until July 1st, you have a chance to get a 50% bonus on Alaska Airline miles with a purchase of at least 50,000 miles, i.e. a cost of approximately 1.97 cents/mile. We have covered 2 similar promotions this year, but the current offer is the best we have ever seen. Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan program is not very well known since Alaska is not a member of any of the three major airline alliances. However, you have plenty of famous partner carriers serving destinations across the globe to redeem on.
Alaska Airlines has codeshare agreements with some members of both Oneworld and Skyteam: American Airlines, British Airways, LATAM, Cathay Pacific, Air France, Korean Air, Delta Airlines etc.
How many Alaska Mileage Plan miles do you need to get around? Here you can find the award chart including redemptions from all the regions. See below for the examples (excluding airline taxes) of round-trip fares assuming your are purchasing miles @ 1.97 cents per mile and redeeming for flights from the USA:
We have just posted a new album from our recent trip to French Polynesia. All the photos were taken at Intercontinental Le Moana and Intercontinental Thalasso Bora-Bora.
We booked 2 nights using our free night anniversary certificates which come with Chase IHG credit card, and booked the rest of the nights for 60,000 IHG points per night. Handwriting lottery entries for the IHG Priceless Surprises promotion last year definitely paid off.
